Consultation

The first important step is discussing your symptoms and evaluating your health history.  The consultation reveals how your particular health problems may have developed.  Dr. Savik will discuss your healthcare options with you.

Examination

A thorough examination will help Dr. Savik understand your condition.  The examination will include a complete regional exam. orthopedic testing, range of motion analysis, posture analysis, a detailed health history, and joint motion assessment using chiropractic techniques.

X-ray

We have state of the art x-ray equipment.  An x-ray is taken to identify any signs of pathology, then structure and spinal alignment are assessed for subluxations.

Adjustment

An adjustment, or manipulation, is treatment using the chiropractor's hands to apply body leverage and a physical thrust to one joint or a group of related joints to restore joint and related tissue function. Through the use of manipulation or adjustments, Dr. Savik seeks to provide relief from symptoms, improve joint and muscle function, and speed recovery.
